new year

and now let us welcome the new year, full of things that have never been. - rainer maria rilke i've always enjoyed writing. since i was a little girl,i kept a diary. i wrote about everything - my friends, my siblings, the cute boys in school, and my parents who just didn't understand me. it wasn't until i got older that i realized how therapeutic journaling could be. i continued to journal on and off until the birth of the boys and since then, my journaling has consisted of recording special moments in their lives. i've missed journaling for me - recording my thoughts, my dreams, desires, frustrations, etc. over the last year, i have been inspired by blogs of busy moms who's words and images truly brighten my days. so here it goes. i'm officially a 'blogger'. i don't know how often i'll be posting, but this is a start. here's to a wonderful 2009!
