finn and scout have developed quite a friendship and it's been a joy to watch.
scout is now able to speak in one to two word sentences which allows him to
have simple conversations with his big brother.
many of their conversations take place around the train table as they play.
they are a hoot to listen to. i wish i could catch them on video.
i will try and if i get it, i will post back here.

they don't always get along though. along with scout's ever growing language,
the terrible 2's are surfacing. he's learned he often gets what he wants because
he's the youngest and i'm a sucker for the underdog.
when i scold finn for not giving something to his "baby brother",
he quickly reminds me "Scout is NOT a baby".
he's right - he isn't a baby.
he is a toddler now who understands alot more than i give him credit for sometimes.

i know there will be lots of bickering and fighting between the boys over the next several years.
i know there will be days and maybe months that they will be bigger bothers to each other,
but my hope is as they grow to be young men and adults, they will always remain good friends.
