i was perusing coffee table books last weekend and came across this book on the kennedy family.
i thumbed through the beautiful images on the pages and thought wow - our 35th president was all about the cool factor. if his personality matched his looks even a little, i can see why he was so likeable.
i think most would agree, john f kennedy was a good looking man,
but in looking through all those images of him,
i noticed he was a great dresser too.
whether he was dressed for the oval office or a day out on the ocean,
he always looked fresh, clean and classic.
with all the styles that come and go, his remains timeless.
he didn't dare wear 'front-pleated' pants (my big male faux paux).
no matter how he was dressed, he evoked casualness and confidence.
he is an icon in the american culture for alot of reasons - his personal style is among one of them.
here's to jfk and his effortless elegance.
(mom, i thought you especially would appreciate this post - i know you were a fan too. ;)
