it's a 5 minute drive away and with our annual passes, we go fairly often and on a whim.
that morning was one of them. we threw a bag together with a change of clothes
(a must since we sit in the 'wet zone' at the shamu show) and packed some waters and snacks.
we were out the door within 15 minutes and walking into the park, i noticed finn's feet.
he was wearing two different flip flops. i asked what that was all about and he responded
"i couldn't find a matching pair but it's no big deal". c and i laughed and agreed.
we all have days that we just have to go with the flow and i was thinking how kids are so
much better equipped than adults to do this. wearing two different shoes would be reason
for me to go back home and switch them out, but kids don't care.
kids remind us what's important and what's not.
that sunday morning was one of 'em.
