these two words are spoken ALOT around our house.
apparently, pinky swearing is the 'in' thing among first graders.
finn tells me all the kids do it, and if they refuse to lock fingers with
someone, they "are probably lying". *grin*
finn introduced this concept to scoutie and now there's pinky swearing
all the time in our home. i even get brought into it.
before scoutie goes to bed every night, he makes me pinky swear
i won't wreck the 10 puzzles that are built and laying all over the living room floor.
i pinky swear i won't and continue to step over them for days...until he is done.
we let him use the living room because of the hardwood floors.
it's an easier surface to work on than the carpet in the invention room.
i am forever fasinated at how different my two little guys are.
they came out of the womb completely different looking -
that should have been a clue their personalities might be all their own too.
scoutie has had a sight obsession with puzzles since the age of 2,
and finn never had an interest in them at all.
building was obsession at that age.
despite their differences, they agree on one thing.
if there are making promises to each other,
they have to pinky swear.
